On Monday, the Braves announced they had hired former outfielder/human highlight reelAndruw Jones as a special assistant to the baseball operations department. As if that wasn't joyous news on its own, the 10-time Gold Glover will join former longtime teammate Chipper Jones -- who accepted the same front office position back in December.

Let us celebrate this momentous occasion with a trip down nostalgia lane and glance at photos of the two All-Stars during their playing days.

With 902 home runs, 13 All-Star Games and 11 combined division titles between the two of them, there's no doubt they'll be an asset for young Braves players for the forseeable future. And maybe, just maybe, in an emergency situation, they can still play.

Hopefully.
