Portable PA System

The EuroportMPA40BT-PRO/MPA40BT is an "all-in-one, portable 40-Watt PA system with Bluetoothconnectivity, batter operation, and a transport handle,". The PA system has a 2-way speakers and a rechargeablebattery lasting up to 12 hours. Additionally, the system features a 2-channel mixers, 2-band equalizer,Bluetooth for streaming audio directly from an iOSdevice, and connectivity to the BehringerULMdigital microphones.

Controls

  1. INST/MICIN: Combo jacks. Connecting the wireless microphone system disablesthese combo jacks.
  2. MIC1/MIC2: Knobs that control either the INST/MICIN or the wirelessMIC1/MIC2 jacks.
  3. RCA: Accepts inputs from auxillarysources. Auxillary signal will be merged with Bluetoothsignal.
  4. BT/AUX Level: Knob that controls the gain forBluetoothand auxillarysignal from the RCA.
  5. Wireless System: Where the USBis inserted to connect to the Behringerwireless microphones.
  6. LEDs: Indicate wireless microphone signal input. Connecting the wireless microphone disables MIC1/MIC2 combo jacks.
  7. Battery Level: Monitors the battery level after system is unplugged from an outlet.
  8. Power Source: Where the included IECcable goes.
  9. Power: Switch that turns the system on and off.
  10. Bass: Knob adjusts low frequencies in sound.
  11. Treble: Knob adjusts high frequencies in sound.
  12. Main Level: Knob controls overall volume.

Hook-Up

Below is a picture of items that can be connected to the PA system and which jacks those items can be plugged into.

Setting Up

  1. Place the systemin the designated area.
  2. Connect the PA system to a power outlet using the IECpower cable.
  3. Once the system is plugged in, turn all the "LEVEL" knobs and the "MAIN LEVEL" knob down to zero, turning the knob in a counter-clockwise direction.
  4. Connect theanalogmicrophones, instruments, or RCAcables into respective input jacks.
  5. Turn on the system by pressing the "POWER" switch to the "on" position.

Wireless Microphone Set-Up

  1. Once the PA system is plugged in and the power is turned on, plug in the wireless dongle into the "WirelessSystem" USBinput.
  2. The "Wireless System LEDs" will light up once the wireless microphones become active.
  3. While speaking into each microphone, slowly rotate the MIC1 and/orMIC2 knobs clockwise until you find a clean, clear sound. If a microphone signal sounds distorted, continue rotating the knob counter clockwiseuntil the sound cleans up.

Instrument Plug-In/Volume Adjustments

  1. If you have an instrument plugged into the MIC1/MIC 2 channels, play the instrument and slowly rotate that channel's level knob clockwise until you find an acceptable level.
  2. If you have an instrument or other external sound device plugged into one of the jacks, adjust the volume on the instrument or sound source
  3. Balance all the audio channels against each other by adjusting each channel's respective level knob until you find an acceptable mix.
  4. Adjust the Bass and Treble controls if the overall sound needs more low or high frequencies.
  5. Make final adjustments to the Main Level knob.

BluetoothSet-Up

  1. After the PA system is plugged in and turned on, press and hold the "BT/AUX" pairing button until the LED flashes quickly.
      1. Pairing button to press
  2. Open Bluetoothon your phone or other device and turn it on to pair and connect to PA system.
    1. Devices with Bluetooth2.0 and above will not require a PIN code.
      1. If your device requires a PIN code, enter the code: 0000
  3. When the LED light stops flashing and is steady, you can begin playing music from your Bluetoothdevice.
  4. While playing music from your Bluetoothdevice, turn the BT/AUX level knob to the 50% position.
  5. After turning the BT/AUX knob to the 50% position, slowly rotate the Main Level knob clockwise until you get a comfortable listening level.

Charging the Battery

The MPA40BT-PRO/MPA40BT has a rechargeable, internal battery that can power continuous audio playback for up to 8 hours. Before using the system for the first time, make sure it's fully charged.

  1. The charge the battery, turn off the system by pressing on the power switch.
  2. Connect to an AC power outlet.
  3. Keep the system plugged in until the 100% LED betterystatus lights up.

Wireless Microphones

The UltralinkULM200USB/ULM202USB is a digital wireless system with 2 handheld microphones and a USBreceiver.

Controls

  1. Power status LED
  2. Down volume button (mute and volume down button)
  3. Up volume button (power on, unmute, and volume up button)
  4. USBconnector
  5. Wireless link status LED

Setting Up

  1. Connect the wireless receiverUSBto the USBconnector on wireless-enabled Behringer mixers, powered speakers, other compatible products, or to a USBport on a computer.
  2. Press and hold the up volume button on the wireless microphone to wirelesslyconnect the microphone to the USB.
    1. The power statusLED on the microphone will flash slowly while connecting to the USB. The light will stop flashing and remain steady once connected to the USB.
    2. If the microphone cannot connect to a receiver, the microphone will automatically power down after 10 seconds.
  3. Once the microphone is connected, it will be set at a medium volume. Use the up and down arrow buttons on the microphone to adjust the volume.
  4. Pressing the down arrow button on the microphone for a long time will put the microphone into mute.
    1. The microphone being in mute is indicated by rapid flashing of the LED.
    2. If the microphone isn't unmutedwithin 60 seconds, the microphone will power down to save battery life.
    3. Pressing the up arrow button will unmutethe microphone.
      1. If the microphone is unmutedmore than 10 seconds after muting, it will return to the previous volume level.
      2. If the microphone is unmutedless than 10 seconds after muting. it will be set to the minimum volume level.
  5. Unplug the USBfrom the device it's connected to to power down the microphone.
    1. The microphone will power down 10 seconds after the USBis removed from the device.
  6. The LED on the microphone will indicate when the battery is low by regular brief flashes.
  7. If the microphone somehow gets unpaired from the USB, the microphone can be paired again from the powered down stated by simultaneously pressing the up and down arrow buttons and move the microphone within 4 inches of the USB.
    1. The LED on the microphone will flash slowly during pairing process and will turn steady once connected.
    2. If the microphone cannot pair to the receiver, it will automatically power down after 10 seconds.
